WOW March is over all ready. I don't know where the time has gone but its nearly April and I can't believe it. I haven't been keeping up with my blog as much as like to. So starting in April I am going to make a real attempt to blog at least once a week.  I am currently home enjoying my last day of spring break. Here is a little break down of how my week went. I came home Last Friday night, which was nice because it gave me more time at home. Over the weekend I hung out with my family, it was so great to see everyone I haven't seen in 3 months. Monday I went into the city and visited family friend who works at a really cool advertising agency and talked about my portfolio. Which was really helpful but I don't know if it calmed me down or only made me more anxious about my future. We shall see. Tuesday and Wednesday where kind of boring. I attempted to work on homework however I kept ending up on youtube and ended up on there for hours. Thursday my cousin and aunt came over for tea and they ended up staying for dinner. On friday I went to the shopping with some of my other cousins and thats when I realized that I might have a shopping addiction. ;] Today I went to one of my favorite stores of all time Target and packed up everything I am bringing back with me. We also dyed easter eggs today. Tomorrow I'll be back at school attempting to finish all the homework that I put off doing this week.  I am so excited that it is finally getting warm and I can wear all my new clothes that I bought over break (post about that to come). Anyway that about all I have got for now. Just wanted to stop by and say hello.

How was your spring break?

Oscar Night

Well the 2013 Oscars are officially over. In my opinion this was the best show in a while, with Seth Mcfarlane as the host. One of my favorite parts though was when the cast of Les Miserables preformed, (but I am obsessed with this musical). I love everything that has to do with the Oscars, especially the fashion. So here are some of my favorites from this years red carpet.

Amanda Seyfried
Amanda is wearing a  Alexander McQueen gown, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels and looks absolutely amazing. She is always spot on with her fashion choices and this dress is no different. I absolutely love everything about this dress from the style to the elegant detail and I wish I had somewhere to wear a dress like this.

Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston looked stunning in her red Valentino. I love this dress because its so simple but yet it still has that wow factor. I think the color definitely adds something also. If it was in a different color I might not have liked it as much. Some may say that Jennifer played it too safe, but I think sometimes safe can be a good thing. The dress is elegant and Jennifer looks fantastic in it.
Catherine Zeta Jones
One of my favorite colors is gold and thats why I loved Catherine's Zuhair Murad dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. What I also liked about this dress is how it flow from very solid and metallic at the top to very soft and sheer at the bottom. I love the combination the gold  jewelry with her dark hair because it really makes her earrings pop and become more noticeable. This dress was a great choice for Catherine. Its supper sexy while still being elegantly mature.

Sandra Bullock
The dress that Sandra is wearing is an Elie Saab and it is so pretty. Its got a combination of metallic and transparent going on and it looks stunning.  I really like the higher neckline as well as the train on the bottom. What I think really drew me to this dress though is the dark color mixed with nudes to created great contrast and elegant style.
Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda gave everyone a run for their money in the bright yellow Versace. She was one of the few who wore a really saturated color and the only one who chose yellow. Yes she was hard to miss on the carpet. This dress has strong shoulders and great neckline. I love the little bit of gold detail around her waist. It just add that little extra something to an already strong statement. Someday I hope to look as good as Jane Fonda did in this dress.

What were your favorite fashion choices seen on the Oscar Red Carpet this year?
